Starting the first weekend of September, the campground gets a whole new look and feel. The air gets a little crisper, the leaves start to change, campfires become extra cozy, and suddenly everyone has a very important question:

Fall at Jellystone Park™ is different from summer, and that's exactly what makes it so special.

Instead of spending the entire day chasing the sunshine and cooling off in the water, fall invites you to slow down just a little while still keeping the whole family entertained.

🎃 Every Fall WEEKend Brings Something New

If you love a good Theme WEEKend, fall is your season.

From September through October, every WEEKend brings its own unique theme and activities, giving families plenty of reasons to come back for more than one visit.

And, of course, Halloween takes center stage.

Costumes? Check.
Trick-or-treating? Check.
Spooky crafts? Check.
Decorated campsites? Check.
A whole campground full of families getting into the Halloween spirit? Absolutely.

🎃 Find Your Magic at the Magic Pumpkin Patch

One of the most memorable fall traditions at Jellystone Park™ is the Magic Pumpkin Patch.

Hop aboard the enchanted Hey Ride™ and head to the pumpkin patch to see what happened to those spellbound seeds. Once your family finds the perfect pumpkin, you’ll head back to the Recreation Center to paint it and make it your own. And keep your eyes peeled because one of your favorite bears might make a magical appearance!

It’s the kind of activity that kids talk about long after the weekend is over.

👻 Trick-or-Treating Takes Over the Campground

What’s better than trick-or-treating?

Trick-or-treating while camping!

Every Saturday during fall, kids can put on their costumes and make their way through the campground in search of sweet treats. And you never know when a costumed bear might pop up along the way!

For kids, it’s an adventure.

For parents, it’s a chance to see the campground transformed into a Halloween wonderland.

And for everyone, it’s another excuse to wear a costume. 🎃

🐻 Get Your Picture with the Halloween Bears

Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™ don't miss out on the Halloween fun either.

During fall weekends, our favorite bears get dressed up and ready for some spooky-season photos. Head over to the Bear's Den for the bear-y scary kickoff party and capture a picture you’ll want to keep forever.

Because every Halloween tradition needs a good photo.

🚂 There’s Still Plenty to Do Between the Spooky Stuff

Fall isn't just about Halloween.

When you're ready to take a break from the pumpkins and costumes, there are plenty of other ways to fill your weekend.

Hop aboard the Jellystone Express for a scenic train ride through the campground, bounce around on the Jumbo Jumper, challenge your family to a round of mini golf, or test your skills in our Laser Tag course.

And if you're looking for even more adventure, campers can head over to neighboring Bear Paw Adventure Park for attractions like the ropes course, Randy's Thrill Hill, the haunted trail, and corn maze. Campers also receive special discounted tickets during their stay.
